COMPUTER SOFTWARE
Our students have access to state of the art computer laboratories to develop Geographical Information Systems (GIS) skills. GIS is a critical tool used in a wide range of careers, in business, government and non-governmental organisations.
LABORATORIES
Our department has access to both physical science laboratories with geoscience specimens and experimental flumes, and biological laboratories for ecological skills training.
FIELD EQUIPMENT
Our students use a wide range of analytical equipment in the field, for sampling air, water, and soil quality, and for taking environmental measurements. We provide free loans of field clothing for our students.
