Environmental managers - professionals with expertise in environmental systems and our social, cultural, technological, economic and political relationships with them - have never been more in demand.
Working with a multidisciplinary team of academics and guest lecturers, drawing on diverse experiences and case studies from across the world, you will develop the knowledge and skills to critically examine:

Trimester 1 (September-January)
SPATIAL AND ENVIRONMENTAL SKILLS
Develop your toolkit of skills to understand society and the natural environment. In this module you will integrate core professional skills with the broader fieldwork, literacy, numeracy, and GIS skills that a modern environmental professional requires.
ENVIRONMENTAL PERSPECTIVES, POLICY AND PROJECTS
Explore the foundational concepts of environmental policy and regulations and their application in management of the impacts of real world projects in the UK and worldwide.
Trimester 2 (January-May)
APPLIED ENVIRONMENTAL MANAGEMENT
Expand your knowledge and application of cutting-edge Environmental Management techniques. In this module you will focus on the tools and techniques and used in modern environmental practice to interpret, model and support decisions on real environmental problems in conservation, industry, governance and resource management
CONTEMPORARY ENVIRONMENTAL CHALLENGES
Dive deeply into the most pressing global environmental issues and explore the causes, process and potential solutions through live case studies, guest lectures and theoretical analysis.
Trimester 3 (May-August)
INDEPENDENT PROJECT
Advance our understanding of the world through the application of your Environmental Management skills. In this module you will plan and execute an independent research project, with a freedom to explore the range of topics that Environmental Management allows.
